Middle School Youth Group will NOT meet today due to Dunes this weekend.

Camp FUSE Orientation Meeting Today! If you are signed up to attend Camp Fuse May 26-28, plan on attending an orientation meeting at 12:30 PM in the sanctuary. We will cover all the details of the weekend, finalize housing assignments, and give you a chance to sign up on your favorite project team!

Go Ye! Missions Concert, hosted by Traditional Worship Ministry, Wednesday, May 24 at 7 PM in the sanctuary, is an annual benefit concert supporting our missions and outreach ministries. All freewill offering will benefit Brian and Faith Janssen, missionaries serving in Taiwan. Admission is FREE! Enjoy choir, men’s quartet, and handbells.

Mental Illness. How should Christians respond? Churches are regularly approached by people that need help in dealing with the symptoms of mental illness—their own or someone else’s. Many Christians want to respond but have no idea of what will make a difference. Gain insight as you explore this topic Sunday mornings at 8 AM in room 116 in this continuing series. Ladies, it’s time to play Bunco! Join Women’s Ministries in the fireside room on Monday, May 29, and join in the fun. Bring a friend! The event begins at 6 PM, with time for fellowship and snacking. Bunco play begins at 6:30 PM and will finish by 8 PM. If you haven’t played Bunco before – don’t let that stop you. Come prepared to have fun and win prizes! Childcare  is provided. MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) registration is open. MOPS will begin meeting on Thursday, September 21, 2017 and will continue meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month until June 1, 2018. Registration is $60 ($65 after May 31, 2017). Register online at vancouverchurch.org/mops.

JOLT (baby boomers) will NOT be meeting in the months of June and July.

Summer Youth Camp Dates: High School, July 10-16; and Middle School, August 25-27!

Dream Center, August 12-19: Young Adults go to our website, vancouverchurch.org, to register for this serving retreat in Los Angeles. This retreat will include a time of serving with the Dream Center in Los Angeles to those in critical need.

The Foundation Board is seeking applicants for the Jay Kennedy Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is available to students pursuing the Ministry as a vocation. Applications are available now online at vancouverchurch.org/resources/foundation. Completed applications must be submitted via email to FoundationBoard@vancouverchurch.org or turned in to the church office by 5 PM on Friday, June 2, 2017. Questions? Opportunities to Serve

Shut In Visitation Ministry. Each month, we make an effort to stay in contact with everyone on our shut in list with a visit, a phone call, or a card. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, call Darcy Krusinski at 360-573-3364.

Volunteer Opportunities. We want to welcome and care well for those who visit Vancouver Church each weekend. To do this, we have a group of people who greet, make coffee, hand out bulletins, and connect with guests. If you are interested in joining our Welcome Team, contact Dondi@vancouverchurch.org.

Teach One to Lead One 5k Race For The Kids Saturday, June 3 at Esther Short Park. Brochures with registration information are available at the Connections Center today! Mark your calendar: T1L1 founder, Dr. Lori Salierno-Maldonado will be speaking at our Sunday morning worship gatherings on June 4th!

The Giving Closet 2804 B NE 65th Ave • Vancouver WA 98661 • 360-993-4800. We are in need of your donations! In the next week or so, clean out your closets, drawers, and cupboards. Then, place your donations in the wooden bins located in the church lobby or bring them to the Giving Closet and take a tour! Items needed are: men’s clothing, new underwear, new or gently used school age children’s shoes, and backpacks. Thank you for your continued support!
