Camp FUSE Orientation Meeting. If you are signed up to attend Camp Fuse May 26-28, plan on attending an orientation meeting on Sunday, May 21 at 12:30 PM in the fireside room. We will cover all the details of the weekend, finalize housing assignments, and give you a chance to sign up on your favorite project team! Haven’t registered yet? JOY Fellowship, a monthly luncheon for senior adults, will gather on Tuesday, May 16 at 12 noon in the High School cafeteria. Lunch cost is $5.50. Enjoy the singing of King’s Way Christian School 7th and 8th grade choirs.
Friday Game Night, May 19. Grab your favorite board game and come to the fireside room at 7 PM for an evening of fun! Friday Game Night is a connection event with a perfect opportunity to get to know someone new over a friendly game. All adults are invited. For more information, call Justin at 360-909-8806.
Middle School Retreat at Dunes Bible Camp May 19-21! Parents, you’ll find more information and registration on our website at vancouverchurch.org. Note: Youth Group will NOT meet on Sunday, May 21 at 11 AM in the student ministries room.
State of the Church Celebration — Sunday, May 21 at 9:15 AM, 11 AM, and 6 PM
Go Ye! Missions Concert, hosted by Traditional Worship Ministry, Wednesday, May 24 at 7 PM in the sanctuary, is an annual benefit concert supporting our missions and outreach ministries. All freewill offering will benefit Brian and Faith Janssen, missionaries serving in Taiwan. Admission is FREE! Enjoy choir, men’s quartet, and handbells.
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) registration is open. MOPS will begin meeting on Thursday, September 21, 2017 and will continue meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month until June 1, 2018. Registration is $60 ($65 after May 31, 2017). Register online at vancouverchurch.org/mops.
Dream Center, August 12-19: Young Adults register for this serving retreat in Los Angeles on our website, vancouverchurch.org. This retreat will include serving with the Dream Center to those in critical need in L.A.
Divine Direction books are still available for purchase for only $10 each at the Connections Center. We accept cash, check, and credit card!

The Foundation Board is seeking applicants for the Jay Kennedy Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is available to students pursuing the Ministry as a vocation. Applications are available now online at vancouverchurch.org/resources/foundation. Completed applications must be submitted via email to FoundationBoard@vancouverchurch.org or turned in to the church office by 5 PM on Friday, June 2, 2017. Questions? Opportunities to Serve
Shut In Visitation Ministry. Each month, we make an effort to stay in contact with everyone on our shut in list with a visit, a phone call, or a card. If you are interested in serving in this ministry, call Darcy Krusinski at 360-573-3364.
Volunteer Opportunities. We want to welcome and care well for those who visit Vancouver Church each weekend. To do this, we have a group of people who greet, make coffee, hand out bulletins, and connect with guests. If you are interested in joining our Welcome Team, contact Dondi@vancouverchurch.org.
Kleen Street is a ministry helping people in Vancouver build back their lives as they overcome addiction. They are currently in need of TWIN size new or gently used, masculine sheet & comforter sets for a new group home for recovering veterans. If you would like to make a donation, please drop it off at the church office or contact Dondi@vancouverchurch.org.
Teach One to Lead One 5k Race For The Kids Saturday, June 3 at Esther Short Park. Brochures with registration information are available at the Connections Center today! Mark your calendar: T1L1 founder, Dr. Lori Salierno-Maldonado will be speaking at our Sunday morning worship gatherings on June 4th!
Vancouver Jail Ministry gladly accepts your donations of soft covered Christian reading material (e.g. Christian books and unused bible studies) at the Connections Center, located in the church lobby. These materials help encourage inmates and gives them positive mental thoughts.
