…loneliness is one of the most dangerous and widespread problems in America today. Some estimate that loneliness has already reached epidemic proportions and say that if it continues to spread, it could seriously erode the emotional strength of our country. Loneliness is not relegated only to unbelievers. 92% of Christians attending a recent Bible conference admitted in a survey that feelings of loneliness are a major problem in their lives. -Robert McGee

All Shared a basic symptom: a sense of despair at feeling unloved… -Robert McGee

3 Characteristics of God’s Love

  1. The Father CAN’T NOT love me

1 John 4:8 & 16

God is love.

My Father is very patient and kind

My Father is not envious, never boastful.

My Father is not arrogant.

My Father is never rude, nor is He self-seeking.

My Father is not quick to take offense.

My Father keeps no score of wrongs.

My Father does not gloat over my sins but is always glad when the truth prevails.

My Father knows no limit to His endurance, no end to His trust.

My Father is always hopeful and patient.

2. The Father loves me as much as he loves JESUS

John 17:23 NLT

May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that
you love them as much as you love me.

3. The Father loves me even when I’m at my WORST

Romans 5:6, 8 & 10

For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly…God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us…For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.

Receiving God’s Love

  1. Be STILL
  2. Be REAL
