Opportunities to Serve

Love Thy Neighborhood Community Partner Spotlight – February. This month we are collecting donations of non-perishable, kid friendly, food items to stock Sacajawea Elementary School’s Emergency Food Pantry. The food we donate will be enough to last the remainder of the school year. Questions? See Dondi today in the church foyer after the morning gatherings.

Missions. If you are interested in being a part of the Service Team to Central America April 1 – 9, there is still room for you but time is running out. For more information, please contact missions@vancouverchurch.org or pick up an information sheet from the Welcome Center.

Missions. If you would like to support the work of our service team going to Central America in April, you may help by donating to the Project cost of the trip. These funds will specifically help support the pastors of the Church of God congregations in Costa Rica, and their work in strengthening the organizational leadership of the church. Their hope is to build stronger relationships with one another so that pastors and churches will not work in isolation, but work together for the kingdom.

Giving Closet • 2804 B NE 65th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98661 • 360-993-4800 • www.givingcloset.org. Contact vicki@givingcloset.org for more information.

Vancouver Jail Ministry gladly accepts your donations of soft-covered Christian reading material. The jail no longer accepts magazines. These materials help encourage inmates, and gives them inspiring thoughts! Bring your donations for the Jail Ministry to the church office.
