Welcome to Vancouver Church! Connecting and building meaningful relationships is a huge part of what we believe in. We would love to hear from you. Please fill out a Connections Card, located in the seat back in front of you, and place it in the offering bucket or take it to the Welcome Center.
Adult Bible Class begins a new study today. Adults of all ages are invited to get in on a new study from 1 John. In this 5-lesson series, you will hear from the disciple John as he writes to all Christians to help build up our faith. The Word class meets Sundays at 10:30am room 103. Flourish. The 6 has a unique women’s community that meets to care for each other, learn how to get closer to God, and press into their God-given identity and purpose. Monthly meetings are on the first Tuesdays at 6:30pm in the Student Ministries Room. No registration is needed. Next meeting is Tuesday, February 5.
Spring Life Group Launch. Rooted is 10 weeks of connection, experience, and life-change within a small group setting. It’s for every age, every relationship status, and every experience level. Deepen your roots this Spring at Vancouver Church. Groups meet Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm, February 6 – April 10. Register online at the iPads in the church lobby or text VCRooted to 97000.
JOLT/PEP, our group for baby boomers and senior adults, will have the monthly potluck and game night on Friday, February 8 at 6pm in the fireside room. Please bring a main dish, side dish, or dessert to share, and your favorite table game.
Annual Adult Retreat March 19-21 at Cannon Beach Christian Conference Center in beautiful Cannon Beach, OR. Registration is open. Sign up in the lobby. Space is limited so sign up today! Bible Reading Plans. We’ve printed more “Read The Bible” booklets, and they are available in the church lobby today. These booklets have 3 different reading plan options to help you get into the Bible in 2019.
Giving. Text any $ amount to 84321. Follow the prompts to set up your account. Giving envelopes are always available at the Welcome Center and in the church office.
Opportunities to Serve
Love Thy Neighborhood Community Partner Spotlight – February. This month we are collecting donations of non-perishable, kid friendly, food items to stock Sacajawea Elementary School’s Emergency Food Pantry. The food we donate will be enough to last the remainder of the school year. Questions? See Dondi today in the church foyer after the morning gatherings.

Vancouver Jail Ministry gladly accepts your donations of soft-covered Christian reading material. The jail no longer accepts magazines. These materials help encourage inmates, and gives them inspiring thoughts! Bring your donations for the Jail Ministry to the church office.
