Opportunities to Serve
Neighborhood Banquet. On Saturday, December 8, we are welcoming guests from our Community Partners (Giving Closet, Kleen Street, Sacajawea Elementary School) to share a festive Christmas lunch and attend the 3pm Singing Christmas performance. Each guest will receive a Christmas gift and have their photos taken with St. Nicholas. If you, your family, or Life Group would like to serve, please take a minute to sign up today in the church lobby. We have teams to fit everyone’s expertise: Food Prep, Kitchen Staff, Servers, Table Hosts. The list has lots of options! For additional information, please email Dondi at email@example.com.
Love Thy Neighborhood Christmas Wishes. Gift tags are available in the church lobby windows today! All of the gift tags represent the same partners we support during the Give 12 Campaign. We will be providing: 1) Gifts for grandmas and grandpas at Arbor Ridge Care Facility. 2) Gifts for kids at Sacajawea Elementary School. Clothing and new toys are often luxuries they are not afforded in their homes. 3) Stockings for the residents of Kleen Street transitional homes. 4) Gifts for teen moms and their babies of Young Lives. These young women need to be reminded that people love them as they raise their babies. 5) Gifts for our guests attending our annual Neighborhood Banquet Saturday, December 8th.
This year’s Singing Christmas Among the Trees, December 5th & December 7th-9th, is a massive opportunity that will bring in thousands from our surrounding community. We need help at all performances for ushers, greeters, hospitality, parking attendants, decorating, lighting crew, prayer teams, security, our community banquet on December 8th, and stage set up on November 24th. Sign up sheets are at the Welcome Center today! Be sure to pick up some invitations, as well as posters, in the church lobby today.

A donation of $108 to The Giving Closet provides one family in need with access to free clothing, bedding, and household items for an entire year. Help us change the course of a family’s life this year by donating online at givingcloset.org. For more information on how you can help, contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Vancouver Jail Ministry gladly accepts your donations of soft-covered Christian reading material. The jail no longer accepts magazines. These materials help encourage inmates, and gives them inspiring thoughts! Please bring your donations for the Jail Ministry to the church office.
