Opportunities to Serve
Love Thy Neighborhood Christmas Wishes. Gift tags are available in the church lobby windows today! All of the gift tags represent the same partners we support during the Give 12 Campaign. We will be providing: 1) Gifts for grandmas and grandpas at Arbor Ridge Care Facility. Most of the residents do not have family support and rely solely on the State to provide everything they need. They appreciate the most basic of items, from new slippers to snack items. 2) Gifts for kids at Sacajawea Elementary School. Clothing and new toys are often luxuries they are not afforded in their homes. 3) Stockings for the residents of Kleen Street transitional homes. These men and women are in the process of rebuilding their lives and are so appreciative of even the simplest gifts of headphones, toiletries and candy. 4) Gifts for teen moms and their babies of Young Lives. These young women need to be reminded that people love them as they raise their babies. 5) Gifts for our guests attending our annual Neighborhood Banquet Saturday, December 8th.
Our Annual Singing Christmas event, December 5th and December 7th-9th, is a massive opportunity that brings in thousands from our surrounding community. We need help at all performances for ushers, greeters, hospitality, parking attendants, decorating, lighting crew, prayer teams, security, community banquet on December 8th, and stage set up on November 24th. Sign up sheets are at the Welcome Center today!
Giving Closet • 2804 B NE 65th Ave, Vancouver, WA 98661 • 360-993-4800. No one should be hungry, unclothed or unloved within our reach. A donation of $108 to The Giving Closet provides one family in need with access to free clothing, bedding, and household items for an entire year. Help us change the course of a family’s life this year by donating online at givingcloset.org. For more information on how you can help, contact email@example.com.
