Welcome to Vancouver Church. Connecting and building meaningful relationships is a huge part of what we believe in. We would love to hear from you. Please fill out a connections card and place it in the offering bucket. If this is your first visit, please bring your card to the Welcome Center, located in the church foyer, after the worship gathering. We want to warmly welcome you with a small gift!
Communion Today. If you have put your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, we invite you to join us as we remember his sacrificial gift to every believer. The communion elements of bread and juice are gluten free.
Annual Church Business Meeting will be on Sunday, July 29. A BBQ will immediately follow each gathering in the covered play area near the playground. This is a great opportunity to share a meal with members of our multi-generational tribe. Information Meeting today at 12:30pm in the auditorium. Out of town on July 29th? Absentee Ballots for the Annual Business meeting are available at the Welcome Center and on our website under “Resources.”
Friday Game Night July 20. Grab your favorite board game and come for an evening of fun in the fireside room at 7pm. This is a connection event offering all ages an opportunity to get to know someone new over a friendly game. Everyone is invited! Questions? Call Justin at 360-909-8806.
Ladies, it’s time to play BUNCO! Come to the fireside room on Monday, July 23 to join in the fun and win prizes. Bring a friend! The event begins at 6pm, with time for fellowship and snacking. Bunco begins at 6:30pm and will finish by 8pm.Please bring a finger food/snack item to share. Drinks provided. Questions? Call Mary at 360-949-3094. Childcare not provided.
Middle School Youth Collective is going to Wild Waves Friday, August 3. We will meet in front of the King’s Way High School at 8am and will return at 8pm. Cost $25. Your student may pack food or bring money for concessions at Wild Waves. Register online.
Prophetic Training. If you want to take the next step in your relationship with the Holy Spirit, grow in your ability to hear God’s voice, and be a source of encouragement to others, join us to learn the basics of prophecy Tuesday, August 7 from 6:30-8:30pm, and Sunday, August 12 from 3-5pm in the fireside room. Training is free! No need to register, just come to training.
VC Kid’s Camp Shipwrecked: Rescued By Jesus August 13-17, 6-8:30pm, for kids age 3 through entering 5th grade. The week will be spent focusing on the saving work of Jesus. Register online now at: vancouverchurch.org/churchevents. Cost is free! Spaces are limited. Teens and adults text VCKidsCamp to 97000 and sign up to serve as a crew member on one of the various teams (preparing for camp, greeting campers, leading games, serving snacks, working with kids, etc.) at Shipwrecked Kid’s Camp. Got questions? Steve Jensen will be in the lobby today after the gatherings to answer your questions about Kid’s Camp.
Giving. Text any $ amount to 84321. Follow the prompts to set up your account. Giving envelopes are available in the pews, at the Welcome Center, and in the church office. “Revive & Thrive” giving envelopes, and “2018-2019 Missions Pledge Cards” are available in the church foyer as well.
Pick up a copy of this week’s Prayer & Praise sheet from the church foyer. It includes “Vancouver Church Family News” (i.e. births, deaths, memorial services, weddings, etc.) as well as a list of staff, ministry partners, those serving our country, and requests from your church family for you to be praying for during the week.

Vancouver Jail Ministry gladly accepts your donations of soft-covered Christian reading material. The jail no longer accepts magazines. These materials help encourage inmates, and gives them inspiring thoughts! Bring your donations to the Jail Ministry book receptacle in the church office.
