Events & Announcements

Welcome to Vancouver Church. Connecting and building meaningful relationships is a huge part of what we believe in. We would love to hear from you. Please fill out a connections card and place it in the offering bucket. If this is your first visit, please bring your card to the Welcome Center, located in the church foyer, after the worship gathering. We want to warmly welcome you with a small gift! Text VCConnect to 97000 for a link to our connections card.

Child Dedications. We invite believing parents to make a public commitment before the Lord to raise their child according to God’s Word and God’s ways at each of our Mother’s Day services on Sunday, May 13. Contact LynetteMcHenry@vancouverchurch.org before Tuesday, May 8th.

JOLT & PEP, for baby boomers and senior adults, will gather for a monthly potluck & game night on Friday, May 11 at 6 pm in the fireside room. Bring a main dish, side dish, or dessert to share, and your favorite table game!

Mark Your Calendar: Go Ye! Missions Concert, hosted by our Traditional Worship Ministry, Wednesday, May 23, at 7pm in the sanctuary. This benefit concert supports our missions and outreach ministries. All freewill offerings will go towards computers and office equipment for Kleen Street, a men’s transitional home to help veterans re-establish their lives. Free admission!

Camp FUSE has been an impactful serving opportunity for Vancouver Church for the past 4 years. Camp Attitude had a change in leadership, and Vancouver Church wasn’t able to get the Memorial Day weekend reserved on their campus. We are disappointed to not be able to host Camp FUSE this year but are working on serving opportunities for our church family, from the young to the mature. If your family or Life Group is looking for a serving opportunity, contact Dondi@vancouverchurch.org for more info on how you could have your own mini Camp FUSE serving experience soon!

CLIMB Summer Camp. Middle School Youth Collective is going camping, white water rafting, and rock climbing! This experience is designed to take students to a place where they can unplug, overcome challenges, try new adventures, and get face to face with Jesus. Our heart is that students would come, remove distractions, and CLIMB into the presence of God, because when they do, they will experience lasting transformation! Check in Thursday, June 28th at 5 pm, and return Sunday, July 1st at 12:30 pm. Cost $185. More details, including a packing list, will be emailed to registrants prior to the event!

Giving. Text any $ amount to 84321. Follow the prompts to set up your account. For your convenience, giving envelopes are always available in the pews, at the Welcome Center, and in the church office. “Revive & Thrive” giving envelopes are available in the church foyer as well.

Pick up a copy of this week’s Prayer & Praise sheet from the church foyer. It includes “Vancouver Church Family News” (i.e. births, deaths, memorial services, weddings, etc.) as well as a list of staff, ministry partners, those serving our country, and requests from your church family for you to be praying for during the week.

Sign up to receive our weekly email newsletter, the Snapshot. We’ll send you a new video each week with the latest news, announcements, and events. Sign up on the bottom of our home page at vancouverchurch.org.
