Study of the Gospel of Luke with the Friendship Bible Class beginning today! Some deem Luke’s account of Jesus’ life the fullest, most orderly version. It has been called “the most beautiful book ever written.” Come and decide for yourself! All ages are welcome. Class meets on Sundays at 11 AM in room 120.

Ladies Bunco Party! Monday, January 29 in the fireside room. The event begins at 6 PM with a time for fellowship. Bunco starts at 6:30 PM and finishes by 8 PM. Bring a friend and be prepared to have fun and win prizes! Bring a finger food/snack item to share. Drinks are provided. Questions? Call Mary, 360-949-3094. Women, you’re invited to a new study, The Armor of God. As God’s daughter, you have a spiritual enemy trying to ruin your Father’s purpose for this world and your life. The enemy’s battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you’re tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you! The Armor of God starts Wednesday, January 31 at 6 PM in room 120. Call Nancy, 360-601-6038 to reserve your workbook. Cost is $13.

Join us for A Night of Worship hosted by the6, here on Friday, February 2 at 7 PM. Childcare for newborns to pre-kindergarten age will be provided for this special event. The6 will not be gathering Sunday evening, February 4. Instead, you are encouraged to come to our 11 AM worship gathering.

Middle School Youth Collective’s Fancy Feast will be the culmination to our gender war where we will be celebrating Valentine’s Day with the unfanciest feast you have ever been to! Bring a friend and join in the fun raffles, games, prizes, and costume awards for the (un)fanciest attendee! Wednesday, February 14 from 7-8:30 PM in the student ministries room.

Youth Collective ALIVE Winter Camp! March 2-4, $125. We’ll be going to Camp Eagle Fern in Estacada, OR for a weekend to have fun on Mount Hood, grow deeper in relationship with Jesus, and with each other. Both the High School and Middle School students will be at the same location, but they will be separate for all activities other than meals and worship. Register on-line today!

Ignite 2018: Hope for a Broken World Women’s Conference is being held here on Saturday, March 3 from 8:50 AM—4:15 PM. This event is designed with all women in mind so invite your friends! Information and registration is online at westernseminary.edu/ignite, and use code GROUP18 to get our $25 group rate.

Adult Retreat (formerly Senior Adult Retreat) will be held at the Cannon Beach Conference Center in beautiful Cannon Beach, Oregon March 20-22, 2018. Registration will continue through March 12, 2018. Bob Christensen will be our speaker. Registration information is available in the church lobby today.

Opportunities to Serve

Vancouver Jail Ministry gladly accepts your donations of soft-covered Christian reading material. The jail no longer accepts magazines. These materials help encourage inmates, and gives them inspiring thoughts! Bring your donations to the church office, and place them in the jail ministry’s book receptacle.
