Events & Announcements

‘Why Christianity Makes Sense’ is a new adult class series beginning Sunday, January 21 at 8 AM in the fireside room. Come explore how Christianity makes sense in areas like justice, relationships, worship, beauty, and more. A short video will be followed with a discussion of the issues. All adults are welcome.

Ladies, it’s time to play Bunco! Come to the fireside room on Monday, January 29 to join in the fun, and bring a friend! This event begins at 6 PM with a time for fellowship and snacking. Bunco starts at 6:30 PM and finishes by 8 PM. Be prepared to have fun and win prizes! Each person is asked to bring a finger food/snack item to share. Drinks will be provided. Call Mary, 360-949-3094, if you have questions. Child care will not be provided for this event.

Women, you are invited to an empowering new study, The Armor of God. As God’s daughter, you have a spiritual enemy trying to ruin your Father’s purpose for this world and your life. The enemy’s battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you’re tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you! The Armor of God starts Wednesday, January 31 at 6 PM in room 120. Call Nancy, 360-601-6038 to reserve a book, $13.

The 6 will not be gathering Sunday evening, February 4. Instead, you are encouraged to come to the 11 AM worship gathering, and then go to a Super Bowl Party with your friends. You are invited to ‘A Night of Worship’ hosted by the 6, here on Friday, February 2 at 7 PM. Childcare will be provided for this special event.

Youth Collective ALIVE Winter Camp! March 2-4, $125. We’ll be going to Camp Eagle Fern in Estacada, OR for a weekend to have fun on Mount Hood, grow deeper in relationship with Jesus, and with each other. While both the High School and Middle School students will be at the same location, they will be separate for all activities other than meals and worship. Register on-line today!

Adult Retreat (formerly Senior Adult Retreat) will be held at the Cannon Beach Conference Center in beautiful Cannon Beach, Oregon March 20-22, 2018. Registration will continue through March 12, 2018. Bob Christensen will be our speaker. Registration information is available in the church lobby today.
