Year End Giving. We want to say “great job” to the many of you who give so generously during December. A strong year-end offering is a central part of our budget planning, and want to invite you to be thinking and praying through your possible investment there. Vancouver Church is growing in health and in impact…by God’s grace, let’s keep it going. You can write a check, text any $ amount to 84321, or give online at vancouverchurch.org. From our entire pastoral team and from the board, thank you for your generosity in partnering with us financially. Your giving is a tangible expression of worship and service to the Kingdom in helping people be With Jesus, like Jesus, more every day.

Want to know God more in 2018? Then know Jesus more. Jesus said, “If you really know me, you will know my Father as well.” You are invited to join The Word Sunday Adult Bible Class as they look in the Gospels to see more of Jesus – God’s Power in Action! The series begins Sunday, January 7 at 11 AM in the fireside room. Enjoy friendly fellowship, great bible teaching, service opportunities, and sweet refreshments.

JOLT & PEP, a group for baby boomers and senior adults, will have our monthly potluck & game night on Friday, January 12 at 6 PM in room 120. Bring a main dish, side dish, or a dessert to share with others, and your favorite table game. You may park in the back (North lot) of the church building and enter through the door downstairs leading to room 120.

Adult Retreat (formerly Senior Adult Retreat) will be held at the Cannon Beach Conference Center in beautiful Cannon Beach, Oregon March 20-22, 2018. Registration has begun and will continue through March 12, 2018. Pastor Bob Christensen will be our speaker. Gift certificates are also available, should you need a Christmas gift for a loved one. Please see Marla Riley for more info.

Boxes of tithe envelopes will be available for you to pick up from the Welcome Center today. Our new accounting system software does not track individual donor numbers, therefore all pre-printed giving envelopes are now numberless. For your convenience, giving envelopes are always available in the pew backs, and in the church office.
