• Who is the person who knows you best? Describe that relationship.
  • God knows your hurts, quirks, heartaches, doubts, fears, bad habits, hidden secrets, temptations, misgivings, unfulfilled dreams, strengths, weaknesses, joys, sorrows, life challenges, successes, failures, and broken relationships. Which of those things make you feel the most vulnerable? Which of these brings a sense of relief.
  • Share about a time you experienced correction from your parent, friend, or employer. How did you feel about what they did? Did that experience prove to be helpful?
  • How has God had to discipline you? How has that discipline helped you to grow spiritually?
  • Have you ever been protected from danger, from making a huge mistake, or in the midst of a difficult situation? Were you aware of it at the time? How did that experience impact you?
  • Where have you seen God protecting you in your life? Where do you think you haven’t been aware of God’s protection?
  • Has there ever been a time when you felt that God forgot about you? How did you make it through that season of your life?
  • Read Isaiah 49:15-16. How would you describe what these verses are saying to someone else?
  • Pastor Larry said, “God loved you as a baby; He loved you as a child; He loved you as a teenager; He loved you as a young adult; He loved you in middle age; He loved you as a Senior Citizen; He’ll love you every day of your life, and He’ll never, ever forget you!” Share what that statement means to you personally. Do you realize God loves you that much?
